از کودکی به نقاشی و آنگاه به شعر روی آورد و در نقاشی از مینیاتور ایرانی تا ابستراکت را تجربه کرد .او همچنین در طرح آمیزی روی جلد کتاب مشارکت دارد .رنگ برای او دغدغه ی اصلی در تجربه های گوناگون وبویژه در کارهای تازه اوست  .شعر زهره خالقی شعر موج سوم و پست مدرن ست که اکنون آن ها را همراه با طرح شعر نقاشی ها و نقد و نظر های نقا شی به زبان های فارسی و انگلیسی آما ده چاپ دارد

Zohreh Khaleghi Started painting since childhood and wrote poetry then.In her paintings she experienced Persian classical paintings a k a Persian Miniature ,as well as abstract art, and artwork for book covers .Color is her temptation in various experiences and especially in her recent works In poetry she belongs to The third Wave of Persian Poetry and Postmodern Poetry.
A collection of her poems as well as nearly 300 works of Poempainting Project now is ready for print .
Zohreh khaleghi ,as huminitarian artist believes in peace and prosperity of human beings.

  می نویسم
  آغاز شدن را
  آغاز رهایی پیله تا پرواز
  پرواز با خورشید
  پرواز به بزم سبز رویاها
  پرواز به تماشای رخ تو
  که نفس تازه می گیرم
  
  می نویسم
  واژه ها را به شعر
  که آغاز بودن با توست
  در گردش تو به شعر
  و در انتها
  آغاز تماشای با تو بودن
  زهره-
  
  I am writing
  to begin
  beginning of freedom from cocoon
  to flight
  flight with the sun
  flight to the green feast of dreams
  flight to see your face
  to take fresh air.
  I am writing
  the words to poem
  the beginning of being with you
  in revolving you to poem
  and finally
